The practice was founded In 1988 to provide an efficient, personalised and practical service to all those associated with the construction and engineering industry, whether they be building owners, Funders, local authorities, housing association, health authorities, contractors, builders, sub-contractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, accountants, receivers, liquidators, lawyers, bankers, etc.

Since its inception the practice has flourished throughout the UK and internationally, building upon our reputation for quality of service.

Our extensive range of services is broadly divided into two main areas, specialised and general. The specialist area covers detailed advice on contractual claims, liabilities for defective work, professional negligence, expert reports, arbitration and litigation, claims management, negotiations and settlement of accounts, project audits and management.

The general area of our business covers design and build tender documentation, estimating, Bills of Quantities, cost studies, property maintenance and management, as well as all the other quantity and building surveying requirements.

The practice identifies individual client requirements and provides a service tailored to their specific needs and budgets. In accordance with this philosophy we employ qualified staff from both the contracting and professional sectors of the industry including quantity surveyors, mediators, arbiters, management consultants and building surveyors.

We are committed to quality assurance principles. To maintain these high standards we utilise the latest computer hardware and software technology, together with a progressive training programme. As part of our overall development strategy we also provide lecturers for seminars and professional organisations and maintain an extensive construction law and technical library
